SonoSite has teamed up with some of the leading specialists in the medical industry to design a series of courses focusing on point-of-care ultrasound. Courses are designed to teach those who have little or no experience in the use of ultrasound in their normal daily practice.
This course is aimed at all health care professionals involved in arm and forearm fistulae. The course is a combination of lectures, ultrasound scanning on live models and in-vitro phantom ultrasound guided needle access of vessels.
Strong emphasis is placed on participant involvement for both scanning and ultrasound guided needle access of target vessels.
The use of ultrasound for early detection and identification of developing problems within fistulae will be addressed. Participants are limited to 16 with 6 ultrasound machines available to allow intensive training in ultrasound technique.
Registration Fee: £265.00 includes VAT, refreshments, lunch and course materials.
