Level 1 Emergency Medicine Ultrasound
This one-day approved Level 1 Emergency Ultrasound course is a mixture of practical small group teaching and short didactic sessions linked with demonstrations. The key issues including – how to introduce ultrasound to a department and its role in vascular access, trauma and abdominal aortic aneurysm will be dealt with.
The course is ideal for the novice or department head who is considering how to get ultrasound up and running within their department.
Participants are limited to 20, with 6 ultrasound machines available to allow intensive training in ultrasound techniques and US guided needle placement of in-vitro models.
Approval of 6 CME Credits from the Royal College of Radiologists.
