Ultrasound Guided Chronic Pain Management

This one-day course is aimed at chronic pain specialists, or other interested parties practising in chronic pain medicine who have little or no experience of musculoskeletal ultrasound and who wish to obtain an introduction to ultrasound in chronic pain medicine skills.

Participants are limited to 20, with 5 ultrasound machines available to allow intensive training in ultrasound techniques and US guided needle placement of in-vitro models.

This course has been accredited by the Royal College of Anaesthetists for 5 CPD points.

Topics include:

How to generate and optimize an image
Sonoanatomy for chronic pain medicine intervention
Chronic pain intervention and ultrasound in routine practice
Practical hands-on sessions: Injection techniques for peripheral nerves, soft tissue, joint and spine injections

Programme: 09:00 – 17:00
