This two-day course is organised by Regional Anaesthesia UK – RA-UK (formerly ESRA UK & Ireland) the official UK national regional anaesthesia society affiliated to ESRA, in conjunction with SonoSite Ltd for the advanced training in ultrasound guided regional anaesthetic techniques.  

PLEASE NOTE:  ESRA Diploma -  for further clarification, the Ultrasound Courses organised by RA-UK and sponsored by SonoSite are all recognised for the ESRA diploma. They do not count as a cadaver course only as another course to fulfil the recommendations.

This practical course is aimed at anaesthetists wishing to improve their skills in UGRA and comprises of didactic lectures covering all commonly used regional techniques, clinical and cadaveric anatomy demonstrations and practical hands-on workshops.

Pre-course questionnaire will be sent 2 – 3 weeks prior to the course and is also avaliable with the online pre course materials.

Participants are limited to 12, with 4 ultrasound machines available to allow intensive training in ultrasound techniques and US guided needle placement of in-vitro models.  

This course has been accredited with 10 CPD Points from the Royal College of Anaesthetists and is is also recognised for the ESRA diploma.
