With  a  strong  interest  and  dedication  for  all  Ultrasound  Applications  in  Anaesthesia, Emergency  Medicine  and  Intensive  Care  but  with  a  special  focus on TOE and Ultrasound Guided Regional Anaesthesia I started  with  Needles  and  Nerves  under  direct  ultrasound  vision  in  2003 in adults and kids. Since 2005 I am very confident in applying ultrasound  guided  regional  anaesthesia  all  over  the human body.

I was Director  of  the  first  Rotterdam  Ultrasound  in  Regional  Anaesthesia  Workshop  in 2005 and since  then  I am leading  workshops,  teaching  and  lecturing  nationally  and  internationally on ultrasound applications in anaesthesia.
