Critical Care Ultrasound

This one-day course is aimed at all critical care physicians and surgeons.  The programme is suitable for those who already have some basic ultrasound experience as well as those who are new to the clinical applications of focused ultrasound at the patient bedside.  The point of care (POC) application of ultrasound complements other POC diagnostic aids in helping clinicians provide more focused and appropriate care in a timely fashion.  

The course is suitable for consultant and middle grade clinicians across the spectrum of specialities (Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics and Intensive Care Medicine for children or adults).

Participants are limited to 20, with 5 ultrasound machines available to allow intensive training in ultrasound techniques and US guided needle placement of in-vitro models.  

This course has been awarded 5 CME Credits from the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.

Registration Fee: £275.00 includes VAT, refreshments, lunch and course materials.
